DESCRIPTION:

ITINERARY ALL DAY

FIRST DAY: AREQUIPA - CHIVAY - CRUZ DEL CONDOR - AREQUIPA

Departure from 02:30 AM to 03:00 AM. Pick up from your hotel, to start the trip to the town of Chivay (3:30 hours tour by tourist bus).

06:30 AM Arrival to the town of Chivay, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast and then continue our way to Cruz del Cóndor (1 1/2 hours by bus). From where we can appreciate one of the deepest canyons in the world and where is the Sanctuary of the Condor, place of observation of the spectacular flight of the Condors. 1 ½ hours of time we will be in this place, on the way back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Achoma, Maca and Yanque that have beautiful colonial churches; as well as in the viewpoints of Antahuilque and choquetico from where we can see the tombs, pre-inca scale models and the beautiful landscape of the Colca with its impressive andenería.

12:30 PM. Arrival to the town of Chivay to go to the thermal baths of La Calera whose thermo medicinal waters oscillate between 35 ° C and 38 ° C. (Optional and recommended)

13:00 PM Lunch in Chivay. Back to Arequipa we will stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes (highest point: 4.920 m), the Bofedales de Tocrapampa (there is a diversity of wild birds), Pampas Cañahuas (National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blancas), home of vicuñas and of beautiful landscapes.

17:00 PM approximate arrival time to Arequipa.
