DESCRIPTION:

ITINERARY. 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT - ROUTE COPORAQUE

FIRST DAY: AREQUIPA - CHIVAY - COPORAQUE

​

07:00 AM, at 07:30 AM, Pick up from the hotel in Arequipa and departure to the town of Chivay (3:30 hours), making stops along the northern road in Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, vicuña reserve), Tocrapampa, lagunillas and bofedales, Patapampa (mirador de los andes, 4900 masl),

12:00 PM. Arrival to the town of Chivay, to continue to the town of Coporaque where we will stay in the homes of the villagers and taste a typical lunch made by themselves, after lunch we will walk for 3 hours through the beautiful landscapes of Coporaque, knowing cemeteries Pre-Inca, ruins, pre-Inca roads, until you arrive at a placid hot spring where we will stop to refresh ourselves, then return to our homes by vehicle to enjoy a candlelight dinner with families listening to stories and legends

SECOND DAY: COPORAQUE - CRUZ DEL CONDOR - AREQUIPA

06:00 AM, Breakfast at home and farewell

After breakfast we will go to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor to have a spectacular view of the majestic flight of the Condors (1:20 hours of road), in addition to observing the depth of the Colca Canyon, there we will make a stop of approx. 1 ½ Hrs having the option of an optional 1-hour hike. Upon return we will stop in the traditional towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque and viewpoints such as Choquetico, Antahuilque and the Litomaquetas.

12:30 PM, Return to the town of Chivay we will have time to have lunch and then we will start the trip back to the city of Arequipa,

5:00 PM, approximate arrival to the city of Arequipa.
